My Motto

Every body can be an artist.

Writing is art.

Every body can write.

It just takes time and dedication. Not every one is gifted yet every one can do it.

Feel confident. And you'll be surprised by your art. It is a question of esthetics and taste. If at first it is clumsy and looks dishonest just keep trying. Ask for advice and correction. But you can do it. We can all do it at our own pace and level.

We are all artists.

Here is my latest baby. It needs to be read carefully. Give it a chance, read past the first thirty pages. You will certainly want to adopt it and wish it was yours.

You can order it soon and give me your reviews... Take care of it please...

I’m An Expat And So What!

or

The pack’n’go wife

Synopsis

"I ´m an Expat and So What?! or The Pack’n’GoWife" belongs to the women’s fiction genre.

It deals with a bunch of snapshots that Shirley produces with her intrusive I.
With either a genuine or slightly imaginary eye, she depicts the peregrinations of expat ladies – friends or strangers – not forgetting her own lot. Laughter mingles with sadness and hope intertwines with despair.
All in all Shirley pays tribute to these ladies whose lives are so different and yet so similar – in their own ways.

Bubbles,

There are different kinds of bubbles in the life of an expat lady.

One kind can be assimilated to a small globule of a gas in a liquid, for instance.

And another kind can be figured out as a dome, a transparent imaginary space, in which we live.

Bubbles are interesting ways to chill out of the ordinary; and as an expat lady I experienced some of them.

Indeed bubbles of Hungarian Pezsgö - a traditional national fizzy wine - pops out of bottles for great enthusiasm of light-hearted people. These bubbles are really and truly predominant at every expat party. They convey drunkenness, hilarity and carelessness.

Then the other bubble; that transparent imaginary sphere that can be impenetrable or (im)pierceable, depending on how you feel.

Some expat ladies make sure the bubbles they live in are impermeable from the outside world. You might not know what might occur…

While other expat ladies, the dary, adventurous ones pop out of their comfy bubble and after a tentative sip or two discover other ways of lives. For expatriations can open up to other perspectives.

Which bubble do you belong to? Which one would you taste?
