Here he is.
The man who made me infatuated with literature again.
As a little girl I loved reading. I could read anything as far as my parents can recall. I was a bookworm. Honestly, I do not remember being such a character, until a few decades ago when I met that great figure above. E-ES: Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt.
I started with "La Part de l'autre" and since then I have no stopped reading his books. A lot of them have been in my hands, caught my eyes and directed my heart. Mr Schmitt's art of writing ranges from plain everyday facts to pure originality. Fiction or non-fiction. You read one but you have not read the next or the previous one. Each of his book differs in style, in tone, in characters, in stories. They are all unique in their genre and do not embody a pattern. Mr Schmitt has no pattern. He has style.
Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt was born the same day as my husband, just a few years before. That might give them the unexplainable attraction I have for them both, though I have never met the former.
His art is full of interest because it is eclectic. He is not only a writer, he is also a film producer, a scriptwriter, a philosopher... He is known all over the world and has been translated in many languages.
Here are some of his work I read and there are many more to discover:

Milarepa (1997)
