Shopping spree

Today's quote is topical. Black Friday is on its way so I have decided to deal with... shopping spree friends.
Enjoy these lines and don't forget Xmas is on its way and you can still treat someone you appreciate with Sully Quay' s novel.
“Paul, Anasthasia’s husband, was not (so) relaxed in the matter of his wife’s shopping addiction, in Hungary. (…)
“Francis, d’you know what I’ve found out? Or rather what my banker suggested I do? I have a device and my phone gives a signal whenever Ana uses the card. Ah! Ah! Ah!” He proudly said to his best friend once at a dinner they hosted at home. He expressed these words naturally, innocently. He did not even seem to look for any harm.
Sometimes Anasthasia did not mind, but other times she felt as a scolded child. So one day…
“Yes, Madam, press the green button first, then type your code.”
“10,000 forints, please. Are you paying with credit card?”
“Thank you, Madam, it will be 20,000 forints. Yes, of course, credit cards are accepted, Madam.”
“Here is your card receipt for 1,800 forints.”
(…)
That day Ana – the-said-to-be Champion of idleness - enjoyed her shopping debauch. She expressly timed herself to stop at a cash desk every ten to fifteen minutes, buying anything insignificant so that husband of hers could enjoy his sweet melodious shopping jingle during his conf calls.”
See you next week.
